Job description

A US-based company that helps customers unlock their credits’ full potential by extensive credit analysis is looking to hire a Full-stack Developer. The selected candidate will deal with numerous business logic built into the front-end and Single Page Applications. The Fintech company is helping individuals resolve one of the biggest financial problems they face in the modern era. This is a full-time role and requires some time overlap with the PST/EST time zones. It is a great opportunity for developers to work with industry veterans and expand their skill sets while working with world-class technology.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Make heavy use of observables, subjects, subscriptions, pipes, and other asynchronous and event-based types
  • Contribute to the soon-to-launch product that integrates with one of the 3 credit bureaus 
  • Collaborate with designers and product owners to deliver pixel perfect components to spec and on time
  • Build production-ready applications
  • Contribute and suggest some design input with prior UI/UX experience 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in Front-end engineering
  • Highly proficient in Angular.js, React.js, Vue.js, or other similar frameworks
  • Proficient in JavaScript and Typescript, including the use of interfaces, enums, classes, and types
  • Prior experience in reactive programming (RxJS)
  • Some familiarity with AWS and related technologies like Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync (GraphQL), Cognito, SNS/SQS (Message queues), IAM, etc.
  • Some UI/UX experience is desirable
  • Solid understanding and adherence to CDD
  • Strong knowledge of change management and version control
  • Ability to work well with technical and non-technical co-workers
  • Experience with AWS Amplify, Serverless framework, and Netlify is nice to have
  • Nice to have strong visual design skills and a good eye for classic design principles such as typography, layout, negative space, etc.
