Job description

A US-based startup fostering better communications with students, colleges, and universities is looking for a Full-stack Developer. The developer will be in charge of ensuring cross-browser compatibility and integrating new design assets. The company's next-generation technology is disintegrating social and educational boundaries for students to give educational institutions holistic student insights, increased engagement, and retention rates. This will be a full-time position and requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST/EST time zones.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of end-to-end product quality, from development to maintenance and scaling core app frameworks
  • Implement new features for the front-end and back-end
  • Have in-depth knowledge of design and architectural patterns and know when to apply them
  • Develop and maintain efficient and reusable code
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-stack developer
  • Prolific skills with React Native, Node.js, GraphQL, Typescript, and Apollo 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in an agile and ambiguous environment
