Job description

An early-stage Silicon Valley startup that aims at becoming an ML-centric collaboration product is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for releasing an MVP and iterating quickly with the first customers. The company operates as an async collaboration tool for hybrid/remote workers to easily organize conversations, track their work, and discover what others are working on. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for developers who are eager to work with a team of professionals and rapidly grow their careers. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ship an MVP and iterate quickly with the initial customers
  • Own significant technical and architectural decisions and help shape the product
  • Work directly with the founder and product designers to develop user flows where necessary
  • Collaborate with different teams to build the web app and iterate based on user feedback

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3-4+ years of relevant full-stack software engineering experience with Typescript and GraphQL (or more a bonus)
  • Experience with Postgres, Razzle, and Nest.js
  • Knowledge of CockroachDB, Google Cloud Platform, and SendGrid 
  • Build integrations with productivity apps like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, Gmail, etc. 
  • Experience in creating data models that are flexible for future product iterations and future ML features is a plus
