Job description

A rapidly-growing company helping businesses to distribute intelligence at the speed of conversation is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The engineer will be sharing ownership over the technical work with the CTO. The company's cutting-edge technology blends an ever-growing index of authoritative data with an ever-expanding choice of visual formats to deliver virtually limitless data visualizations for every narrative. This role requires 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architectures
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to build high-quality solutions
  • Develop highly scalable, responsive, and well-documented stacks
  • Adopt a holistic and test-oriented approach for troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading services

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Must be well-versed in front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML/CSS, Redux, Angular, UX Design, WordPress, Spark, or D3
  • Expertise in any back-end technologies like Node, Python, PHP, Java, Go/Golang, Ruby on Rails, Django, Google Cloud Platform, or Laravel is important
  • Should possess expertise in working with DBMS like MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, among others
  • Must possess a strong grasp of the design and construction of REST APIs
  • Familiarity with large systems, complex code bases, and versioning tools like Git is required
