Job description

A well-established company that concentrates on the conviction investment strategy is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of speeding up the adoption of decentralized finance by making it easier for businesses and consumers to access DeFi via the API. The company is backed by leading VCs, including Coinbase, First Round Capital, etc., and integrates with preferred blockchains as well as the DeFi protocols. Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of real and impactful products
  • Take ownership of all infrastructure and ensure the systems are running efficiently and securely
  • Implement, update, and maintain back-end or front-end components
  • Use best coding practices while developing
  • Actively communicate with the team during the development process
  • Enthusiastically pick up other technology stacks such as Ethereum, Solana, Rust, and so on
  • Solve problems at scale with unconventional or cutting-edge methods

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience with Node.js is required
  • Experience in building public-facing APIs using REST or GraphQL
  • Must have a great understanding of NoSQL or SQL databases and how to scale them
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, performance tuning, massive concurrency handling, and caching mechanisms is nice to have
  • Capacity to design, develop, and maintain JavaScript-based applications
  • Knowledge of npm, lint, and continuous integration (CI) is required
  • Understanding code versioning system (Git), bugs, and issues tracker is required
  • Experience in Web3 or DeFi protocols is nice to have
  • Understanding cybersecurity, basic cryptography, and user privacy is a bonus
  • Strong passion for learning to continually improve your craft
  • Keen desire to work with like-minded peers
