Job description

A US-based company building the next generation of in-store customer experience and replacing traditional registers is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer. The developer will be responsible for building the next generation of analytics and customer management for restaurants. The company is one of the largest social commerce platforms in the US and is helping restaurants to build their brands and create world-class customer experiences by converting offline purchasers into digital followers. The company has managed to raise funding worth $95 mn+ during their Series B round. This role requires 4-5 hours overlap with the PST/EST time zones and will be a full-time role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize problem-solving skills to help prevent and resolve complex issues
  • Collaborate with the designers to define and implement new application features 
  • Provide suggestions for potential projects that can bring impactful results
  • Contribute to building, maintaining, and operating a highly scalable and resilient platform

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Full-Stack engineer
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling such as React
  • Experience with architectural patterns of complex web applications (e.g., well-designed APIs)
  • Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Nice to have some experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions 
  • Prior experience with functional programming languages is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
