Job description

A US-based e-commerce startup for parents to discover, request, and buy products for newborns, is looking for a Full-Stack Ruby on Rails developer. The developer will be required to build server-side logic, maintain a central database, and integrate the application with the user-facing elements. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary for this position. The company has raised a fund of over $650k and is growing rapidly in terms of revenue and popularity. This is a great opportunity for those who can work and thrive in an early-stage startup environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in building and maintaining ERP system integration
  • Work closely with product managers, product designers, and other engineers to conceptualize, build and test new features
  • Use a holistic, test-oriented approach to troubleshoot, debug and upgrade applications
  • Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic and functionalities
  • Optimize the platform for faster execution and solve scalability issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • Must be skilled at back-end heavy technologies such as Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with .NET suite
  • Working knowledge of React, Native Android and iOS, JSON, MySQL, and Redis
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Must have great collaborative and interpersonal skills
