Job description

A next-generation social checkout platform for restaurants is looking for a Full-Stack, React Native Engineer. The engineer will work actively to build the analytics and customer management tool. The platform enables mobile ordering, group buying, and social rewards for users and operates as one of the largest social commerce platforms in the US with over $50 mn in annual Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). The selected candidate will develop a high-value product that will facilitate how thousands of restaurants run their business and manage customers. This is a full-time opportunity requiring 4-5 hours overlap with PST or EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build cutting-edge tools to help restaurants in running their business 
  • Collect feedback from their customers and influence the staffing decisions
  • Build systems that will allow restaurant businesses to operate more efficiently
  • Take ownership of the social commerce pillars helping users to engage their friends in orders for additional discounts

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific skills with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling like React
  • Expertise in React Native
  • Proficient in architectural patterns of complex web applications (e.g., well-designed APIs)
  • Conversant with SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • In-depth knowledge of MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions is a plus
  • Experience with functional programming languages is a plus
