Job description

A leading fintech company that offers a new loan origination platform to help forward-thinking lenders, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will work as the Director of Engineering and be responsible for developing high-quality front-end and back-end features, projects, and development teams in line with the product roadmap. The company uses real-time database architecture and cutting-edge technology to streamline the mortgage origination process. This will be a great chance for creative problem solvers and strong communicators to excel in a startup environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Hire, mentor and lead other engineers, develop them for higher impact and teamwork
  • Design, develop and deploy the core capabilities and platform services
  • Drive technical review of design documents, code review, prioritization of development roadmap, and fixes
  • Design strategies for future development projects based on the OKRs and resources
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 7+ years of relevant work experience as a software engineer 
  • At least 4 years of experience with Node.js or a similar back-end technology
  • At least 4 years of experience with React or similar front-end technology
  • 2 years of experience in managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple projects and workstreams
  • At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager in a similar or related role
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Firestore
  • Core competency in growing and mentoring engineers
