Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is determined to revolutionize the investment management industry with their pertinent solutions is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working in close collaboration with the data specialists and analysts to help improve the software. The Fintech startup assists clients in enhancing current asset management procedures, adopting innovative distribution channels, and broadly engaging investor audiences. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who enjoy working with a team of professionals and building cutting-edge technologies. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with development teams and product managers to develop a software platform
  • Design client-side and server-side architecture
  • Collaborate with the team to build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write and maintain APIs with RESTful web services
  • Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software systems 
  • Create security and data protection settings
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Work with data specialists and analysts to improve software

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Passionate experience in the fintech industry 
  • Familiarity with financial markets and investments
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, and jQuery)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of multiple back-end languages (C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (Apache), and UI/UX design
  • Nice to have experience developing with AWS
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail with an analytical mindset
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
