Job description

A U.S.-based company that is determined to improve the medical decision-making process by tapping into the power of technology is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of planning, designing, and executing end-to-end web architecture. The company's EHR-integrated B2B SaaS platform aims to help hospitals and front-line clinicians to tackle pressing issues that can impact the medical decision-making process. The company has managed to secure more than $1mn in funding so far. This will be a full-time long-term position requiring 4+ hours of overlap with the PST time zone. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and create scalable and impactful solutions for physicians to place patient orders 
  • Collaborate with teams to understand requirements, feasibility, development and release planning
  • Write and review code that is reliable, scalable and reusable
  • Execute and oversee the creation and delivery of automated unit/integration tests for the codebase 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience in React
  • Demonstrable experience leading a team of engineers 
  • Prolific experience in Ruby on Rails and AWS
  • Prior experience working at a U.S. startup is a plus 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
