Job description

An NYSE-listed company that provides and manages battery storage solutions designed to enhance renewable energy generation is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for launching innovative Python or Java microservices to integrate with EV charging solutions. The company contributes to minimizing energy costs and renewable intermittency through the world's biggest network of distributed energy storage devices. The company has managed to raise close to $600 mn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Work with other software engineers to develop and deliver E-Mobility cloud solutions on AWS
Leverage Kubernetes and other state-of-the-art technology platforms to build software products
Create new micro-services in Python or Java
Integrate the platform with EV charging platforms, using ML services and cloud services
Create UI applications using ReactJS for the front-end
Actively contribute to a developer experience that accelerates productivity and product quality while collaborating with team members

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 7-10+ years of relevant experience developing full-stack applications
5+ years of experience designing and developing cloud-based applications
Knowledge of React, JavaScript, CSS, and Python
Familiar with microservices and Restful APIs
Knowledge of SQL and other data stores
Experience with the Agile methodology
Experience writing APIs and micro-services
Knowledge of Material UI is a plus
Experience with the AWS Cloud Services is nice to have
Knowledge of containerized Docker apps and/or Kubernetes is desirable
Proficiency in English
