Full-Stack Engineer

A fast-growing company on a mission to help e-commerce businesses reach new heights by tapping into the potentials of AI and robust data platforms is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for improving the products and scaling them regularly. The U.S.-based platform integrates online retailers with automated optimization techniques, solutions for growing businesses, and access to growth financing. The company has managed to secure more than $10 mn during their Series A round of funding.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Work on products that fuel high-growth companies in the e-commerce ecosystem in data-driven decision-making to power growth for their business
• Work closely with the CTO (Engineering, Product, and Data Science) to help translate higher-level initiatives into actionable tasks for the engineering function
• Employ large-scale data collection, storage, processing, modeling, and integration into user-facing products
• Implement the next-generation front-end of the company’s prospector tool that enables users to search 
• Collaborate with the engineering team to add features that allow users to connect their Shopify, Amazon, and Plaid banking systems to their profiles
• Build dashboards to enable visualizations of large-scale data pipelines and scrapers, their health, status, and data coverage
• Plan and execute the integration of technology systems from acquisition targets in a way that multiplies their value
• Assist in hiring and developing engineers
• Act as a steward of high code quality across the company’s repositories through constructive feedback and code review

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor on front-end systems, preferably React-based
• Prior experience building APIs to power single-page applications
• Extensive experience in React
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience building backend APIs
• Nice to have experience with Python, Node, and Golang
• Demonstrable ability to adapt and change to new technologies
• Familiarity with modern container-based deployment practices, Kubernetes, and GitOps
• Familiarity and experience with production quality and secure AWS technology stack deployments
• Experience in Python-based web frameworks. Ex: Django, FastAPI, DRF, Flask
• Experience in GraphQL and Golang is a plus
• Experience in Apache Airflow Data pipelines is preferred 
• Experience in Elasticsearch is a bonus
• Fluent in verbal and written English
