Job description

A fast-growing company promoting safe, dependable remote access to data at all times and from any location is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be using both new and experienced Cloud services, including AWS Lambda. The company uses cloud data infrastructure, ubiquitous machine connection, and communication processes that enhance machine performance to turn insights into action. The company has managed to raise close to $40 mn in funding.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, create, and describe the architectures of APIs
Build, establish, and record front-end components
Migrations in design and model data schemas to accommodate both new and old APIs
Utilize both recent and seasoned Cloud services, such as AWS Lambda
JavaScript code that supports and improves single-page data visualizations should be written and reviewed for testability
To guarantee that data appears quickly, support and nurture front-end real-time feeds and APIs
Utilize APIs to include external systems
To ensure a great experience for a heavy interaction platform, put your attention on rendering performance
Promote code quality and architecture upgrades to establish new benchmarks for the team
Create asynchronous systems for managing application state in real-time using XHR requests, GraphQL, and web sockets
Write code that includes documentation, unit tests, and integration tests.
Code review and constructive criticism are given and received to help the team grow

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
2+ years of experience in server-side programming/API development
Knowledge of JavaScript (ES2015 and newer) on both the client and server
Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Knowledge of Node.js and GraphQL
Expertise in TimescaleDB and C#
Knowledge of C++ and Terraform
Understanding of Promises, Generators, and Async-Await
Experience with React or other front-end JS framework
Proficiency in git, NPM/Yarn, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes
Knowledge of CI, AWS, and modern team software development and testing tools and practices
Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment
Passion to contribute to testing and performance profiling
Proficiency in English
