Job description

A rapidly-growing company enabling registered customers to reserve highly sought-after tables at exclusive restaurants is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring features are delivered in a timely manner while taking ownership of the full cycle deployment. The company uses a distinctive supply-and-demand pricing strategy to provide difficult-to-book reservations for a set minimum spending amount. This position requires some overlap with the EST time zone. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop software and develop design, test, and maintenance
  • Collaborate closely with the founders to implement new feature concepts 
  • Solve complex problems with good implementation
  • Contribute software development ideas to the technical roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience in JavaScript, PHP, and React
  • Ability to learn new technologies and languages 
  • Ability to work independently and calm under pressure while maintaining good judgment when making decisions
  • Comfort working in a lean startup environment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, handle shifting priorities with ease, and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Early-stage startup experience is a plus
  • Strong product insight and passion for UI
  • Prolific experience in PHP (Laravel), Vue.js, and MySQL
  • Prior experience in LEMP/LAMP
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
