Job description

A U.S.-based company helping businesses to navigate Amazon by ensuring their listings are consistent with the brand is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with maintaining the existing platform while working on new projects with a team of professionals. The company is helping businesses to develop long-term growth strategies that will boost sales and increase profit. The company has managed to secure funding worth more than $650K so far. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the company’s existing platform and work on new projects simultaneously 
  • Configure and deploy software applications and systems
  • Design new software features through agile development practices
  • Refactor new and legacy code to minimize technical debt
  • Proactively move the technology base to the latest tools and frameworks for the best performance
  • Assist the team with troubleshooting issues in an efficient and responsible manner

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience in Python and Ruby on Rails
  • Prolific experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in PostgreSQL, Redis, and Django
  • Proficient with software development methods and release processes
  • Strong attention to detail and organization 
  • Aptitude to learn new and existing technologies
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
