Job description

A rapidly-growing company building a mobile application to help users connect with their neighbors in real-time and help them to bond is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring the product meets all functional and non-functional requirements. The company is helping users to meet neighbors and help each other to sharpen their skillsets. This is a great opportunity for developers who enjoy working on innovative technologies in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with product and design team to enhance user experience 
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary to build and innovate new and existing features 
  • Brainstorm with the team to develop, implement and execute new code 
  • Craft high-performant, scalable, and maintainable code

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Proficiency in Typescript
  • Solid understanding of writing cloud functions, specifically Firebase cloud functions
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and native APIs
  • Prior understanding of the DOM and its JavaScript and HTML API
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
