Job description

A U.S.-based company using the combined capabilities of AI and machine learning to improve commercial insurance performance is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating usable databases, apps, and servers. The company is working on a data organization approach that will eliminate the labor associated with comprehending commercial insurance data. The company has managed to raise $30 mn+ during its Series C round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work through the complete software development lifecycle, from scratch to launch
  • Design user-based interactions through an impactful front-end architecture framework
  • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers
  • Code for various platforms to ensure functionality across multiple channels
  • Develop and design RESTful services and APIs
  • Manage database administration and hosting responsibilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
  • Knowledge of Python and JSON
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL
  • Expertise in database administration is nice to have
  • Proficiency in English
