Full-Stack Engineer

A leading financial automation platform transforming how construction companies run their business is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for identifying, ideating, designing, and executing projects end-to-end in conjunction with the product team and senior leadership. The company is solving various problems through its platform while on a mission to help ease the lives of construction financial professionals and make their companies more profitable. The selected candidate will be an integral part of creating a powerful & diverse platform while helping to shape and grow a rapidly expanding engineering organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve roadblocks ahead of time
• Be an independent contributor with high throughput and develop applications and features
• Develop, test, debug, support, and enhance the software
• Maintain strong coding, compliance, and security standards
• Evaluate and provide technical solutions to solve complex and interdependent processes
• Drive complete ownership of every technical aspect of the features
• As part of the team, ensure members adhere to the code quality and testing standards
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and work closely with the engineering management 
• Guide teams and drive consensus on collaborative projects of the highest business need, risk, and complexity
• Implement critical, high-impact features and functionality
• Contribute ideas that will directly shape the future of the products and platform 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 4-7+ years of relevant experience in VueJS or ReactJS
• 5-7+ years of experience in Python
• Proficiency in Flask or Django
• Knowledge of Microservices, SQL/NoSQL, and RESTAPIs
• Familiarity with Redis, Docker, Design Patterns, and Unit Testing
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Git, and Low-Level system design
• Nice to have experience in Cloud (AWS/ GCP/Azure)
• Understanding software best practices, data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Familiar with Gitlab, Database Design, ELK Stack, and Messaging technologies like RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, etc.
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership for the development of at least one cloud-based product 
• Experience in building microservices/platforms is desirable
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - including work estimation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills
• Willingness to learn new technologies is a must
• Proven ability to project and meet estimated deadlines
• Self-motivated, fast learner with attention to detail and quality
• Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, and English communication skills
