Job description

A fast-growing company operating under the umbrella of a giant corporation that seeks to provide wholesome solutions to clients through ship agency, passenger cruises, freight logistics, etc., is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. As a critical part of the application development team, the engineer will be responsible for web application development using various programming languages and frameworks. The corporation has existed for almost 4 decades with a commitment to prioritizing customers' needs while staying up-to-date with modern delivery methods. Candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about programming and technology are suitable for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

Work on building web applications using resources like Javascript, AngularJS, PHP (Laravel), HTML, and CSS
Assist in designing and managing MySQL databases
Help create APIs using JavaScript/PHP
Contribute to other relevant activities with a direct effect on project development

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
Must be able to work with modern programming languages like JavaScript, CSS, and HTML for styling and page layout
Should possess experience with Bootstrap
Expertise in working with frameworks like jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Node, Knockout, Angular, ReactJS, Typescript, Ember, etc
Ability to work on MVC application development and web API creation is required
Capacity to work with PHP and associated frameworks like Laravel
Understanding MySQL database design and management is required
Knowledge of Services Oriented Architectures and RESTful Interfaces
Experience in software testing procedures and developing automation tools is required
Thorough understanding of ECMAScript 6 features, modern HTML5 techniques, and CSS3
Ability to collaborate with teams in source code-controlled environments using Git or SVN is required
Must be able to work in an Agile/Scrum and team-based environment
Experience in working with Laravel or AngularJS
Must possess excellent communication skills along with fluency in English
