Job description

A U.S.-based company on a mission to help businesses generate pipelines at a faster pace is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating and strategizing across departments to deliver world-class user-facing products and services. The company enables businesses to meet the right customers at the right moment and start a conversation with them using live chat, voice calls, video, and chatbots. The company has managed to raise $160mn+ during their Series C round of funding.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-functionally with teams that interact with customers to develop and build new product features
  • Own the development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and customer rollout of features from beginning to end
  • Uphold the highest engineering and coding standards
  • Help in maintaining and growing highly-available, heavily-used services that customers rely on for time-sensitive and essential business operations
  • Step outside the comfort zone to tackle the various challenges and opportunities that will arise as the product and team grows rapidly

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Experience with strong software engineering practices like coding, unit testing, code reviews, and design documentation
  • Working knowledge of all components of the web application architecture
  • Must be adept at adopting new tools and technologies as the job requires
  • Experience working with React UI, GraphQL, REST, WebSockets, and Ruby on Rails is desirable
  • Nice to have some experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Excellent English communication skills
