Job description

A US-based cloud platform that offers exclusive grant management software solutions for doers and funders is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for improving observability through enhanced logging and tracking. The company offers rigorous automation, important integrations, and flexible reporting for grants, assets, employee giving, contracts, and much more. The company has managed to successfully raise close to $52 mn in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle and fix problems reported by internal and external customers and partners
  • Collaborate with support agents, other engineers, designers, QA, and product managers to improve products and processes
  • Individually prioritize work tasks to meet deadlines
  • Determine support trends and make suggestions for improvements to processes, policies, and products
  • Enhance observability through better logging and monitoring
  • Create test automation to ensure consistent quality release after release
  • Engage in proactive knowledge-sharing activities
  • Create and update technical documentation

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of experience building or supporting web apps (B2B apps preferred)
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of MySQL, jQuery, React, Elasticsearch and Java is nice to have
  • Familiarity with Redis, DevOps, AWS, and RESTful APIs is a plus
  • Desire to discover the underlying causes and solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • An instinctive desire to learn, grow, and adapt quickly
  • Proficiency in English
