A US-based company on a mission to revolutionize the healthcare system and help empower women is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be collaborating with a close-knit team and will be continuously delivering innovative products. The company is blending in-person and virtual care services to help build a modern healthcare company focused on women. The company has managed to raise $100 mn+ during their Series B round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work within the team to deliver new products continuously
  • Use creativity to solve novel problems and be encouraged to learn new technologies to meet the business goals
  • Play a key role in shaping the engineering culture from your team’s technology stack 
  • Participate in daily virtual standups and brainstorming sessions 
  • Design uniform, stateless RESTful APIs that are pragmatic and intuitive
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, product-oriented agile development environment
  • Follow through with tasks to the best of your ability and persevere through challenges

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5-7+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer 
  • Extensive experience in React Native and Node.js
  • Prolific experience working with relational databases and web apps
  • At least 2+ years of experience developing full-stack commercial web applications
  • Prolific experience creating modular software that elegantly separates concerns
  • Fluency with SQL, designing schemas, and executing intermediate-level queries
  • Proficiency with a dynamically typed language such as JavaScript, Ruby, or Python
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
