Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to bring books on-chain to create a diverse and amazing library on the Metaverse is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for prototyping and scaling the leading platform in the industry. The company is determined to develop the best book NFT platform in the industry. Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the technical architecture and high-level software design choices
  • Write loads of robust, high-quality, and well-documented code
  • Design and build out the Web 2 and Web 3 stacks, including MetaMask, Hardhat, OpenZeppelin, IPFS, and multi-chain smart contracts
  • Keep track of the latest technology in the field
  • Mentor new members of a growing team
  • Build a rigorous and innovative technical culture

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant full-stack engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python and Next.js
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Software Architecture, API Design, Typescript, Tailwind CSS, Solidity, and Smart communication 
  • Prior exposure to Web 3 technologies and GitHub
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to iterate and pivot quickly in an independent manner
  • Comfortable developing products and features from scratch 
  • Familiarity with frontier tech and finding solutions to unknown problems
  • Significant experience in Solidity, Rust, smart contracts, blockchain indexing, and L1/L2 blockchain developers
  • A passion for Web 3 and ties to Web 3 communities
  • An appreciation for the humanities, books, and philosophy
