Job description

A rapidly-growing company building a consolidated platform that enables businesses to gain access to business intelligence, collaboration, financial planning, and analysis services is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for iterating quickly and should have a great sense of user experience and business needs. The US-based company's innovative technology enables organizations to unify and analyze data from every part of their business. They have managed to raise $2.5mn+ during their Seed round of funding. This will be a full-time long-term role requiring some overlap with the PST time zone. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Iterate quickly to make improvements as per company’s standards 
  • Collaborate with database systems and relevant stakeholders to receive feedback 
  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end software infrastructure, starting from design, development, and testing to maintenance
  • Work closely with the founders and designers to implement new features as quickly as possible
  • Solve complex, technical problems with good design and implementation
  • Contribute innovative ideas to the product roadmap
  • Have a long-term impact on the company’s stack library through testable codes 
  • Analyze and improve system’s efficiency, scalability, and reliability

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer 
  • Extensive experience in React, Node, and UX Design
  • Nice to have experience in C/C++, DevOps, Jest, and/or Puppeteer
  • Passionate about startups is a plus 
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript / React
  • Demonstrable experience with NodeJS and backend is nice to have 
  • Prior experience in DevOps is a plus
  • Experience with automation tools such as JEST or Puppeteer is a huge bonus
