Job description

A US-based company that provides affordable healthcare by associating incentives to reduce costs and improve health, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer (Back-End-Focused). The engineer will utilize sound technical skills to deliver scalable product features and business solutions. The company is led by industry visionaries who foresee a world where everyone can do the work they want without forfeiting an opportunity to gain affordable and comprehensive healthcare. It has raised close to $20 mn+ in funding. This is an exciting position for candidates with a strong passion for developing and delivering solutions that impact an organization exponentially.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement and advocate rapid iteration and Agile approaches to software development
  • Contribute to the technical architecture and implementation of the web application
  • Be a full-fledged contributor, aid in requirements gathering and creation of minimum viable project solutions
  • Participating in the earliest stages of planning with various teams and stakeholders
  • Be responsible for all services you build, ensuring high performance and responsiveness
  • Collaborate with the product team to understand customer requirements and translate them into software designs
  • Ensure timely releases while creating the long-term product vision
  • Identify and define appropriate APIs for consumption by the application
  • Coach and mentor other members of the development team to facilitate the team’s collective knowledge and expertise

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Experience in Java, JavaScript, and Python
  • Knowledge of Typescript, React, and Node
  • Enjoy building elegant solutions to technical and customer problems
  • Familiarity with Git/version control/testing in Java
  • Prolific skills in software quality, improving the development process and building highly scalable systems
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker images is nice to have
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with modern technologies and practices
  • Familiarity with GCP is preferred
  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
