Job description

A fast-growing company building an advanced medical home and care system for women is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for the code quality and software design to deliver a great user experience. The company is composed of a multidisciplinary group of clinicians, researchers, designers, technologists, and operators that have firsthand knowledge of how flawed the women's healthcare system is. They have managed to raise $100mn+ in funding during their Series B round. 

  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop architecture for end-to-end software development
  • Contribute to implementing, releasing, and supporting features that enable the existing collaborative care model  
  • Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to define technical solutions based on product requirements 
  • Build solutions that deliver high impact for existing customers and businesses
  • Work with problem-solving to handle complex situations with ease 
  • Develop user-centric designs and high-quality products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Fullstack Engineer
  • Expertise in working with React, Node, and Relational databases is essential
  • Should be able to build modular software that elegantly separates concerns
  • Must be able to design uniform, stateless RESTful APIs that are pragmatic and intuitive
  • Ability to work on SQL, design schemas, and execute intermediate-level queries is required
  • Experience in working with JavaScript, Ruby, or Python is highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, product-oriented agile development environment for shipping software that addresses business requirements
  • Must work with a problem-solving mindset and possess deep troubleshooting knowledge
  • Collaborate with different team members to define strategies and develop applications
