Job description

A US-based company creating an ecosystem for humans and machines to work together to solve the world’s most critical problems is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will help advance the company’s mission in a role that involves autonomy, creative freedom, and leadership. The company is developing products that enable users to efficiently trap and combine fragments of information, enhancing their ability to solve essential problems. The selected candidate will take ownership of features and projects while working in a full-time, long-term role. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build out core product offerings, including a low-friction notes app and an editor
  • Develop a platform that is at least as complex, seamless, and high performance as an IDE 
  • Create the front-end and back-end architecture, including API design, database schemas, and 3rd party API integrations
  • Define technical priorities with the core engineering team 
  • Partake and contribute to the agile development process
  • Update yourself on recent developments in web applications and programming languages

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant full-stack engineering experience 
  • Expert knowledge of general web technologies, specifically in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and deep technical understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team with a product-oriented mindset
  • Possess good social empathy and willingness to uphold critical ideas
