Job description

A rapidly-growing platform that enables sports and esports fans to build and customize their stadium experience is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working closely with the CTO to build a fast-paced consumer social product with a growing community. The VC-backed company is creating the ultimate digital community around sports and culture. They have managed to secure $2.5mn+ in funding so far. This is a nice opportunity for developers to work for a fast-paced startup.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Continue to push the boundaries of technology, design, and experiences
  • Experiment and iterate continuously to provide the most dynamic experiences
  • Oversee the development of the products across iOS and Android 
  • Contribute to the engineering foundation and culture early on
  • Build back-end functionality, implement them in front-end and oversee its release
  • Scale new and existing features to work for a large user base
  • Work with the design team using Figma and turn ideas into reality 
  • Fix bugs and additional issues that may arise
  • Refactor and fine-tune the end-user experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Ability to move up and down the stack to own features from end-to-end
  • Experience building and shipping quality code for both front-end and back-end applications 
  • Extensive experience working with Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, React.js, and React Native
  • Experience with managing DevOps and CI/CD workflows/processes
  • Experience with profiling and fixing performance issues in JavaScript applications
  • Prolific experience working with Firebase, Docker, AWS, and PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with Serverless technologies like Lambda and Google Cloud functions
  • Employ a strong sense of pragmatism and objectivity in software decision making 
  • Have a product-oriented mindset with a desire to make the best end-user experience
  • Experience working in a demanding and dynamic nature of an early-stage startup environment
