Job description

A fast-growing startup on a mission to raise healthcare workers up on the socioeconomic ladder is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be working on scalable/high-performance code on both the front-end and back-end of the platform. The company helps health professionals to pick up extra shifts, and health care facilities with short and long-term staffing needs to fulfill their requirements. The company has raised more than $100K in funding during its Seed round. The engineer will run the entire software development lifecycle and support the production use of the features.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain, and scale efficient and reusable systems that drive complex web and mobile applications
  • Create software features that are robust, reliable, and user-friendly for both internal teams and the customer base
  •  Engage in problem definition, design, development, and testing
  • Balance immediate business objectives against long-term architectural vision

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience with REST/RESTful APIs, AWS, Next.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
  • Nice to have some knowledge of Docker and related technologies
  • Familiar with modern open source technologies like Express.js, React, Tailwind UI, and Flutter
  • Experienced in developing mobile and web apps that interface with REST APIs
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
