Job description

An emerging content management company that will be working closely with social media influencers and celebrities to build successful, profitable profiles is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The selected candidate will be tasked with creating world-class customer experiences and building a responsive web application. The company specializes in marketing tailor-made content to an existing audience of highly engaged fans. This role requires a significant overlap with the PST time zone. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Product department to understand requirements, the desired customer, and partner experience
  • Define, document, and communicate overall system architecture
  • Evaluate alternative technologies
  • Evaluate and recommend production infrastructure
  • Maintain security and availability of the product
  • Resolve technical problems and ensure the development of the solutions
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies
  • Interact collaboratively with stakeholders and other team members
  • Ensure alignment with the product roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of full-stack software development experience
  • Proficient with React.js and Node.js 
  • 1-2+ years of relevant architecture experience
  • Extensive experience with Continuous Delivery techniques
  • Competent with Test-Driven Development
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services is crucial
  • Experience building e-commerce solutions
  • Competency with Agile or Lean methodologies
  • Nice to have some experience with AWS DevOps and DevOps
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High sense of urgency and degree of initiative
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver new solutions quickly and iteratively
