Job description

A rapidly growing company building an efficient financial operating system for the logistics industry is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working closely with a fast-paced team and take charge of creating high-quality products that promote the business. The VC-backed company is solving a multi-trillion dollar problem by building financial tools and payment products that are tailored to serve the needs of truckers and fleet managers. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work with an emerging startup and seasoned second-time founders.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the balance between the speed of iteration and quality of code
  • Follow good practices such as testing and code review while iterating fast based on user feedback
  • Help shape the initial engineering culture of the company
  • Utilize libraries and dependencies to get things done fast without compromising on reliability and usability
  • Work independently with little oversight or management
  • Demonstrate consistent engineering standards and practices adopted by the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Node.js
  • Familiarity with Tailwind, Next.js, and Prisma
  • Prior experience architecting, developing, and testing full-stack code end-to-end
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with high-energy and mission-driven colleagues
  • Previous experience building fintech infrastructure and an entrepreneurial mindset is nice to have
