Job description

A rapidly-growing product-oriented and boutique software development company is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing, architecting, and building system components. The company is committed to delivering quality, impactful, and ground-breaking products to help businesses and their product team with the entire process, from ideation to product launch. This is a great chance for the selected candidate to work as a member of a distributed team of talented professionals.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
  • Develop applications on Ruby on Rails
  • Aid in the conception and supervision of a harmonious UI layer across multiple applications
  • Work in an agile environment to ship features rapidly
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Foster quality while building solutions through extensive code tests
  • Participate in the deployment processes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Extensive experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • Proficiency with development tools such as JIRA, Git, Bash, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design
  • Experience in implementing new features using React with Hooks, Typescript, CSS, HTML.
  • Familiarity with Web Sockets, Web APIs, and GraphQL
  • Experience and knowledge with the database engine
  • Care deeply about performance and possess good problem-solving skills
