Job description

A US-based company providing healthy meal kits and recipes to customers at their doorsteps is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The developer will be collaborating extensively with multiple teams and product managers to push the product to the market. The revolutionary startup is backed by top-tier investors and has set an industry standard by providing organic meals with fresh products at pocket-friendly prices without compromising quality. The company has managed to raise funding worth $140 mn+ so far. This will be a long-term position requiring at least 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implementing and maintaining software components of the core platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize the platform
  • Liaise with the product managers to develop, maintain, and manage software components 
  • Find and maintain the perfect balance between high-quality code and getting a product shipped 
  • Help the team pay off technical debt 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, jQuery, CSS, SQL, and AWS
  • Prior experience working with both front and back-end technologies
  • Nice to have some understanding of React, React Native, PHP, and JPA
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly in both verbal and written form 
  • Comfortable engaging with a geo-distributed team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
