Job description

A US-based firm that facilitates payments for vertical software businesses is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The developer will help the existing team improve and implement new features around the client integration experience. The company's next-generation technology absorbs the risk, realizes complexity, and builds out the infrastructure required to manage payments in-house. The company has managed to raise $70 mn in funding during their Series A round. This will be a long-term, full-time position that requires a 5+ hours overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build around the platform rather than in the platform
  • Use APIs to integrate with partners
  • Enhance the overall user experience of the application 
  • Fix bugs and present innovative solutions for pertinent problems
  • Take ownership of the sandbox/test environment and SDK

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack Engineer
  • Demonstrable skills with JavaScript
  • Working knowledge of PHP on the back-end
  • Strong API integration experience
  • Must know how to integrate front-end and back-end apps
  • Nice to have some experience with Typescript, Angular, AWS, Node, and jQuery
  • Prior working experience of CI/CD and Automations is desirable
  • Fluent in English communication
