Job description

A US-based company on a mission to empower the energy industry with the best AI technology globally is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The developer will be leading the development of new features for the latest SaaS product. The company's cutting-edge technology eliminates human mistakes from data aggregation, allowing organizations to build stronger customer relationships with no margin for error. The company has managed to raise $1.2 mn+ in funding so far. This will be a full-time, long-term role that requires 4+ hours overlap with the PST/CST time zones.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and build well-functioning high-performance applications
  • Build, maintain, plan, iterate and execute the product through the entire software lifecycle 
  • Implement and modify features, while inputting technical solutions for the future roadmap
  • Develop and mature the flagship product
  • Influence the product vision and roadmap
  • Comprehend and impact the product vision to translate business goals into a well-defined implementation plan

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years relevant experience building and supporting web applications as a full-stack engineer (experience leading a software team is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, and Python
  • Prior working experience with AWS Cloud
  • Experience with serverless technologies is a plus
  • Proven track record with development tools such as Postman, VS Code, Github Actions
  • Experience working with design tools like Sketch, Figma, Amplify, Invision and Zeplin
  • Expertise in working directly with multiple stakeholders on the implementation of designs
  • Ability to develop data-heavy applications for users to interact and engage with large volumes of information 
  • Competent understanding of data visualization principles and best practices
  • Prior domain experience in energy, climate change, or sustainability is nice to have
  • Experience building next-generation payment and billing experiences and integrations are desirable
  • Nice to have prior experience developing billing and reporting microservices in support of payments, customer accounts, and service metering
