Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing an innovative online marketplace geared towards the aftermarket auto parts industry, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of proactively locating and recommending remedies to fix the application's flaws and weaknesses. The company is building a community-driven marketplace and automation platform for tuners to buy and sell their parts. The company has managed to secure more than $148K during their Seed round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Determine and address problems with application availability, scalability, and stability
  • Recognize source code to enhance the code-review procedure
  • While leading and mentoring junior engineers, establish and instruct a skilled development team
  • Introduce the organization to new procedures, tools, and technology

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 2-4+ years of experience working with React and Ruby on Rails
  • Demonstrable experience working with TDD 
  • Great time-management and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in English communication, both written and spoken
