Job description

A fast-growing company that is currently in its early stages of development is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for developing and launching new features while working with ML/AI developers, founders, designers, and other experts in the field. The company's technology combines video conferencing, an AI stack, and an end-to-end AI-powered application to improve outcomes in the field of mental health. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape the technology and product
  • Build the full-stack platform in collaboration with the architect
  • Work to increase the platform’s uptime and dependability constantly
  • Together with ML/AI engineers, develop a back-end for cutting-edge AI features
  • Work with entrepreneurs of businesses, GTMs, and products to develop resourceful, innovative solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 5+ years of experience working with Node.js, Vue.js, Python, GCP, and Cloud technologies
  • Demonstrable experience with shipping products that include consumer-facing web applications
  • Demonstrable experience developing consumer-facing web apps that adhere to modern standards for security, privacy, accessibility, and cross-platform responsiveness
  • Solid understanding of and expertise in planning and constructing with privacy and security in mind
  • Strong communication abilities are needed when working with business/product stakeholders to comprehend and iterate on needs while balancing time-to-market and accuracy, or when working well with others to be resourceful and innovative
  • Nice to have some experience integrating and working with ML/AI back-ends, such as PyTorch/Tensorflow models
  • Prior experience working for early-stage startups is preferred
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
