Job description

A U.S.-based company that is enabling real estate investors to get capital for their next investment property by leveraging the power of technology, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working with development teams and product managers to build a world-class platform and products. The company's easy financing processes and reliable capital for real estate investors set it apart from their competitors. The company has managed to secure $156mn+ in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work diligently on developing, optimizing, and implementing APIs while working with the biggest team in the company
  • Execute API-related tasks with a track record of more functionality-related work, tasks, and implementation
  • Work on daily jobs that involve a lot of API usage and little interaction with SQL or NoSQL DBs
  • Participate in the analysis, design, coding, and implementation of large-scale, custom-built object-oriented applications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working with React and GraphQL
  • 4+ years of experience working with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, and REST/RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with GRPC, TypeScript, and API Design is nice to have
  • Prior experience working with or willingness to pick up Ruby on Rails is desirable
  • Some knowledge of cloud ecosystems like AWS
  • Nice to have prior knowledge of designing or optimizing APIs using RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
