Job description

A rapidly-growing company that is developing a community-driven organization that encourages the development and preservation of folk culture, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality software while meeting the deadline. The not-for-profit, community-driven organization is dedicated to the arts and humanities and preserving authentic folk customs. This is an exciting opportunity for developers eager to work in a challenging environment while juggling multi-faceted requirements. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive initiatives for process and code quality improvement
  • Assist the team in updating and maintaining internal tooling
  • Participate actively in gathering requirements, conducting customer interviews, and developing reliable product solutions
  • Lay the groundwork for the development procedures, as well as the technical and architectural roadmap

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prolific experience working with WordPress, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
  • Exceptional team building and collaboration skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English communication
