Job description

A U.S.-based company that facilitates exchange and resale for top-tier brands, generating scaled, sustainable, and lucrative development, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of maintaining high technical standards in your own work and that of others, including in terms of design, architecture, and implementation. The company is driving the resale revolution with scalable branded re-commerce solutions that extend the life of millions of products, resulting in more equitable and sustainable business models, and building outstanding products that power circular shopping. The company has managed to secure more than $120mn during their Series D round of funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Promote and put into practice sound coding techniques, provide and accept helpful criticism, and independently and cooperatively design solutions. 
  • Work daily with a range of stakeholders, while also conducting autonomous projects and collaborating with your engineering peers.
  • Utilize a Scrumban-style architecture, and lean workflows, and keep improving current procedures.
  • Create and maintain the software supporting all of the logistics and inventory management teams.
  • Develop many personas for each product, throughout the entire stack, and different products

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable experience working with Node.js
  • In-depth knowledge of object-oriented design and modern JavaScript frameworks like HTML and CSS
  • Solid understanding of web technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, etc.
  • Prolific experience working and integrating with APIs
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of UNIX shell
  • Demonstrable experience building large-scale web applications
  • Nice to Have some experience with an automation-focused culture, in testing and building/deploy
  • Prior experience building scalable eCommerce applications is desirable
  • Some experience working with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and ReactJS is nice to have
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
