Job description

A U.S.-based company that is developing and marketing its patented AI-driven technology that helps patients to easily detect cardiovascular diseases, is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be in charge of building servers and databases to support the functionality of websites. The company offers cutting-edge precision medical solutions and is committed to improving access, personalization, and accuracy in the prevention and early diagnosis of cardiovascular disease. During their Series A round, the company has managed to secure raise $538K+ in funding. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing AWS cloud technologies, create front-end versions of internal and external websites
  • Create dashboards and user interactions for websites by employing AWS Services
  • Develop robust back-end website applications
  • Connect to a variety of internal and external services and applications
  • Satisfy consumer and technical requirements to provide a pleasant user experience

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Demonstrable experience with REST API development using Node.js and Express.js
  • Prolific experience with AWS app runner in PAAS service
  • Prior experience working with front-end languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with server-side languages like Python and Java
  • Extensive experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of common web development tools and services, including version control software, package managers, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Prolific experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular.js, React, and Ember
  • Prior knowledge of leading cross-functional agile teams with full accountability for the creation and delivery of products
  • Working understanding of database systems including MySQL, Redshift, and MSSQL Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial establishment
  • Ability to effectively explain technical information and complex strategies to stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds
  • Must be a highly driven, self-directed person with a good work ethic
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
