Job description

A U.S.-based company that is using AI in healthcare to develop improved precision medicine is looking for a Full-Stack Engineer. The engineer will be helping the existing team with a few urgent POC projects and tasks. The company helps organizations predict, advance, identify, and diagnose healthcare and precision medicine solutions more efficiently. The company has managed to securely raise more than $1bn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the modeling and data transformation
  • Help the team with Model deployment and evaluation
  • Collaborate with the development team to build out new features for the platform
  • Keep working through complex projects

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer
  • Prior experience working with API integration across various LLMs like OpenAI, Cohere, etc.
  • Ability to rapidly POC, iterate, and benchmark LLM model performance
  • Knowledge of generative capacities (independent of any particular LLM) 
  • Ability to accept specific requests for these outputs
  • In-depth knowledge of models based on a unique corpus of knowledge (both structured and unstructured forms)
  • Familiarity dealing with traditional engineering and dev ops teams, which will be in charge of integrating the LLM model(s)
  • Extensive experience working with Machine Learning technologies
  • Working knowledge in the clinical or healthcare sectors
  • Experience with transformer models like decoder-only, encoder-only, and encoder-decoder
  • Knowledge of DialogFlow or other intent-based conversational AI systems
  • Prior experience and involvement in model training and evaluation
  • Nice to have some fine-tuning expertise 
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
