Job description

A fast-paced company that develops event-specific travel solutions is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for developing scalable product features in line with the mission of authenticity, dependability, and innovation. The firm streamlines the employee travel booking process by providing a consolidated interface for managing room lists, sub-blocks, room comps, and communications. This will be a long-term, full-time role that requires some overlap with the EST time zone.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop product features that meet the acceptance criteria of the tickets allocated to them
  • Create code that is clean, tested, and documented
  • Participate in code reviews and commit code to GitHub
  • Engage in SCRUM/Agile meetings
  • Contribute to the project's component library

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer
  • 4+ years of experience in Node.js
  • 5+ years of experience in JavasScript/Typescript
  • 2+ years of experience in React
  • 1+ years of experience in NoSQL Databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
  • 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP/Firebase
  • Attend daily video meetings
  • Knowledge of testing and debugging in Node
  • Excellent analytical and English communication skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience creating real-time event-driven and event-sourced systems, as well as a track record of effectively completing large-scale integration projects
  • Exposure to Agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as approaches to continuous integration and deployment
