Job description

A rapidly-growing company on a mission to transform the Edtech industry by building a one-of-a-kind SaaS for schools is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be tasked with providing technical guidance architecture and enforcing technical standards while mentoring junior developers. The company is currently building a unique school dashboard, but plans to scale their product to a full system including online classes, assignments, and other features. This is an amazing opportunity for developers who are passionate about making a difference while working on some cutting edge technology. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Balance user experience, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability
  • Ensure that unit test results meet standard coverage requirements
  • Participate in Agile rituals such as daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and product demos
  • Create code that is efficient and scalable while meeting business requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer 
  • Extensive experience in Angular, Node.js, and AWS
  • Prolific experience in MongoDB and Firebase
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
