Job description

As a member of the team, you will help facilitate integrations, services, and features that enable the platform to drive personal development and help people harness their full potential. This game-changing, career-defining opportunity requires 4-6 hours overlap with PST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members and stakeholders to craft consumer-grade experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform requirements into substantial iterations that can be implemented quickly 
  • Encourage tight feedback loops and learning via data and metrics
  • Leverage lean startup and agile methodologies 
  • Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment infrastructure to speedily prototype and scale ideas
  • Implement robust systems with cloud and container technologies (Docker, Heroku, AWS) 
  • Work with the internal tooling to accelerate the product development cycles

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, Ember.js (or React or Angular), Gitflow, Docker, or related technologies
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies using SCRUM, Kanban, Lean Startup, etc.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTTP, REST, Web Sockets, etc.)
  • Experience in PostgreSQL
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills
  • Ability to work in the rapidly changing nature of a startup environment 
  • Passion for empathy, excellence, and continuous improvement
  • Alignment with the mission of enabling self-driven behavior change
