Job description

An up-and-coming platform relieving the burden of discovering new restaurants or deciding where to eat for millions of people is looking for a Full-Stack Back-End Heavy Developer. The developer will be responsible for building the applications, debugging errors, troubleshooting issues, and performing routine performance optimizations. The company aims to build a community of food lovers who can interact and share their personal reviews of restaurants. This role offers a great chance to play a key role in a fast-growing startup. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Integrate with a team consisting of other back-end and front-end developers
  • Brainstorm and identify opportunities for new features and how to implement them

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience in full-stack or back-end development
  • Core competency in React Native, Node.js, and PostgreSQL
  • Expertise in mobile development using Swift/Android will be a plus
  • Nice to have experience in AWS
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
