Job description

A U.S.-based company building a powerful platform that provides mission-critical solutions for teachers, parents, and leaders is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be in charge of gathering and writing strong requirements based on business objectives. The company is committed to changing how kids feel about math by providing math teachers with proper guidance and insights through engaging assessments. The company has managed to raise more than $22 mn in funding so far. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete mid-sized software development projects while juggling the demands of several other initiatives
  • With direction from the technical and architecture leadership, take part in the development of technical requirements, technology selection, data modeling, Azure infrastructure design, and DevOps & CI/CD process design
  • By utilizing accepted industry best practices, new apps and functionalities are designed and developed
  • Meet with product managers to craft technology solutions that meet the business needs and estimate the effort required to deliver
  • Work on an agile development team with other software developers
  • Through pull request evaluations, give other developers comments on their code
  • At learning sessions, share expertise to strengthen the team

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 10+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
  • Prolific knowledge of Microsoft stack web development 
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Infrastructure (DevOps, CI/CD processes, source control, cloud)
  • Experience developing good architectural patterns for writing scalable and maintainable software
  • Demonstrable success leading projects from start to finish
  • Strong technical and non-technical communication skills
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to comfortably collaborate across divisions
  • Ability to estimate tasks effectively and accurately
