Job description

A U.S.-based company developing an innovative platform that provides electronic document management solutions for businesses is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be performing, receiving, and learning from code reviews. The company's modern platform makes it fast, easy, and secure to capture papers, PDFs, and digital media into a searchable team-based system. This will be a long-term full-time role requiring significant overlap with the PST time zone.

Job Responsibilities:

Convert concepts and designs into code that is effective, dependable, and well-documented
Update and enhance legacy code
Support sales and customer service professionals with technical knowledge and suggestions
Keep up with new tools, recommended procedures, etc.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack developer
Extensive experience working with PHP/MySQL, and JavaScript
Knowledge of Linux, Git, and NGINK
Knowledge of MVC applications and revision control systems
Ability to write in accordance with a house style guide and architectural conventions
Nice to have some experience developing and maintaining projects on a fairly standard LEMP stack
Prior experience writing both object-oriented and procedural PHP is desirable
Experience with both starting projects from scratch and jumping into an existing codebase is preferred
Some familiarity with Git is nice to have
Nice to have some experience with Vanilla JavaScript
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
