Job description

A U.S.-based company providing revolutionary cannabis insurance services that is transforming the industry is looking for a Full-Stack Developer. The developer will be responsible for implementing advanced Azure Cloud initiatives for improved data and integration capabilities. The company offers comprehensive insurance benefits for the hemp, CBD, and cannabis industries. This is an exciting opportunity for developers to work in a fast-paced environment while building unique solutions for a niche industry. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions in Microsoft Azure environment using technologies like .NET and/or .NET Core
  • Contribute as a solution architect in problem analysis, solution design, and advising teams on appropriate Azure service selection
  • Provide assistance for configuring, deploying, and executing CI/CD pipelines in alignment with SDLC methodologies
  • Design and build solution artifacts based on technical and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with business analysts and end-users to define system requirements
  • Work on managing resources and setting project delivery expectations
  • Collaborating with other cloud vendors, business stakeholders, and internal IT team to build robust integration solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related degree
  • At least 7 years of programming experience in an industry setting
  • Expertise in at least one programming language relevant to Azure application development - C# .NET; JAVA
  • Minimum 3 years of production experience on Azure platform using APIM and Azure functions
  • Thorough understanding of primary application-related to Azure services, compute, storage, identity and access management, and integration
  • Excellent grasp over agile development practices and associated disciplines like CI/CD and Git
  • Azure DevOps experience is highly preferred
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and associated database concepts
  • Having Azure Certifications will be a bonus
  • Fluent in verbal and written English communication
